Coming Home to the Christ -- Barry's Story

    Christ Jesus asked us to create this website and offer the Way of the Christ work because this is the time we all knew was coming. It is the time of the Second Coming, and the Christ is calling many of us home because it is our time. We are the Second Coming. We are the awakening Christ, and now is the time for the Christ to be awakened and made manifest through many of us.

    For the first blog post, I felt to tell you the story of how I got to where I am today, a co-creator with Christ and my beloved Karen of this Way of the Christ website and work. I’d like to share a very condensed version of my journey,  because it may also be your story.  

    Many of us who were born in the West turned away from Christianity and thus from Christ early on. We found the churches of our childhood devoid of spirit, lacking anything that truly resonated deeply in our hearts and souls. When the primal impulse arose to awaken and realize our deeper nature, to commune with things of God and spirit, we turned to many diverse paths -- Eastern religions, New Age teachings, shamanistic practices, Native American wisdom, Sufism, etc. Like many of you, I walked on many of these paths, seeking to find the ultimate truth and reality of my being. We gained much from our experiences, as  each of these paths is an inextricable thread in the larger tapestry of the collective human soul’s journey to Self-realization.

    But along the way something unexpected happened in my journey -- something that would turn out to be the pivotal spiritual moment in this and maybe all my lifetimes. It occurred as part of a kundalini awakening through the grace of my satguru, Mahavatar Babaji. Just as these awakenings began to unfold, another divine being appeared in my life. As I was entering a time of profound ego shredding and dissolution that would lead up to the awakenings, the Christ came. At first, I experienced him as a universal presence that enfolded me, giving me comfort and spiritual strength as my inner and outer worlds disintegrated. In retrospect, I realize that the Christ was also overlighting and catalyzing my awakenings with Babaji, but from behind the scenes. 

    After the kundalini awakening, the Christ came to me as Christ Jesus or Yeshua, who felt like a personal friend and soon became the central focus of my spiritual life. It wasn’t long thereafter that Christ Jesus asked me if I would serve the Office of the Christ, which is a grouping of ascended masters and other divine beings (in and out of body) working together to bring forth an awakened, Christ-conscious species. The Office of the Christ is focalized by Christ Jesus, who is the Planetary Christ. The Christ, in essence, chose me, because the way of the Christ or Christ path was my true and ultimate destiny, as it is the destiny of many who are now awakening. 

    As the Christ revealed itself to me both as Jesus/Yeshua and the universal being~presence that is also the deepest core essence of my being, I came to understand the absolute importance of the Christ at this time on the planet. In coming into deep communion with Christ Jesus, who was to become my satguru alongside or even beyond Babaji, I was gifted with the most profound and important revelations of my journey. 

    The Christ has revealed itself to be the source of the most potent spiritual blessing-grace in my life.  I realized that this being was truly the Way, the Truth, and the Life, as he said two thousand years ago.  By this I do not mean that he was a way-shower, or one who reveals the truth, or even one who leads us more deeply into union with life.  Instead, I came to experience that through his realization he literally became the Way, the Truth, and the Life. 

    Another way of saying this is that he became these divine realities through his realization that he was the fullness of the Godhead incarnate (“I and the Father are One”). Thus, the Christ is the doorway to the omnipotent grace and power of Source. Through this blessing-grace, we can be brought into full Self~God Realization.

    The Christ is coming to many of us now as a planetary satguru, one who overlights the planetary ascension process on the vastest of levels, yet is available to us in the most personal ways. The Christ does not ask us to put aside or abandon the practices and paths that we have walked and found beneficial, but wants to offer us something additional and possibly even more rich, full, and complete than anything we've previously experienced. This has certainly been true in the case of me and my beloved partner and wife, Karen.

    You will unmistakably know if the Christ is calling you, just as Karen and I did. You may even experience the kind of resistance and conflict that we felt in fully embracing and allowing the Christ into our lives. You may also go through many of the passages, activations, and awakenings that we have experienced, along with your own unique revelations and openings. 

    This website and work are for you if you feel the Christ calling you Home to who you truly are. If the Christ is really part of your soul’s DNA, you will know it.  At this time of the Second Coming you will come face-to-face with Christ if that is in the highest for your soul. We invite you to journey with us on this Way of the Christ adventure. Our soul purpose is to assist others on this path.

    As a first step in deepening your Christ-communion, you might consider downloading the empowered image of the Christ that is available for free on this website. This image of Christ Jesus is especially powerful because it was painted directly from the Shroud of Turin by Ariel Agemion, an Armenian artist.  A print of this painting was given to me while living in Germany in the mid-80s by a priest who was also a devotee of Babaji. This image was the conduit or portal through which I was brought into conscious communion with the Christ. It is an empowered image. Christ Jesus has assured me that those who commune with it  will also receive his blessing-grace and assistance in coming into conscious communion with the Christ as the Universal Christ, Jesus, and your true, eternal or Christed Self, as is right for you.

    Our third book, We are the Awakening Christ, contains the story of our experience on the Christ path, overlit and and guided by the Christ.  It is not just our story, but a blueprint of an archetypal journey that many are destined to walk in these times. The book also contains many experiences of and messages from the Christ that are imbued with the transmission of the Living Christ Presence.  Many have found reading this book to be a powerful activation and deepening of their journey of Self Realization and Christ communion.
